2026 Suzanne Hodder Award
Susan Campbell, the 2026 Suzanne Holmes Hodder Memorial Award recipient, was an active LeagueAire for 17 years, from 2002-2019.
Susan served on many committees and in leadership positions throughout her tenure: Social committee; New Members committee; Sunshine committee; Hodder Endowment committee; Hodder Flag Day committee; and in the executive capacity of Vice Chair Community.
Because of her kindness and benevolence, LeagueAires always had a complimentary source of bottled water at our regular Monday morning rehearsals. Throughout her active years and ever since, Susan has been a generous benefactor to LeagueAires.
Indeed, Susan has had a particularly notable impact on the enduring financial sustainability of LeagueAires. Following the death of LeagueAires beloved longtime member Sue Hodder in 2011, Sue’s husband Bill Hodder and family chose to memorialize their wife and mother through an endowment to LeagueAires. It was Susan Campbell and her husband Jon—together with fellow LeagueAire Nancy Lindahl and Nancy’s husband John—who met with Bill Hodder to initiate and establish the Suzanne Holmes Hodder LeagueAires Memorial Fund, a lasting legacy providing critical financial support to LeagueAires today and into the future.
